Brief Introduction to Qingdao Chengyang People’s Hospital  Chengyang district is a national science and technology advancement demonstration area and national ecological demonstration zone. Chengyang People's Hospital is located in the center of this district and it is the standby hospital for the 2008 Olympic sailing competition.The hospital has 800 open beds and employs more than 800 people, including 60 senior professional technical staff and 150 intermediate technology professionals. The hospital has been equipped with start of the art medical technology, including MRI, spiral CT, ECT, Linear Accelerator, TCD, Heart Monitor systems, remote-control X-ray machines, a biochemical analysis auto-device system, color ultrasound diagnostic systems, and several kinds of electronic endoscopies. Stem Cell Treatment and Rehabilitation Center The stem cell treatment and rehabilitation center at Qingdao hospital was established in May, 2006. It is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. The hottest month is August with an average temperature of 2'(. Qingdao is a city ideally suitable for living and vacationing. Arrival - The best way to get to Qingdao Chengyang People’s Hospital is to fly into Qingdao Liuting International Airport. The airport code of this facility is TAQ (ZSQD). You will be picked up at the airport immediately and there will be BeiKe staff waiting right outside of the gate with signs of the names of both you and the person who is accompanying you. The trip from airport to hospital is about 30 minutes. If you have special needs such as a wheelchair or stretcher, it is important to let us know as soon as possible.  Room Accommodation - The hospital rooms in China are as comfortable as most standard hospital rooms in the United States. Each room has an LCD television, a microwave, and a fridge. Internet access is available if you decide to bring your laptop.Your nurse or our staff can explain how the bed is adjusted and how to use the call button, and can provide any other assistance you might need. It lies in the east of Qingdao City in Shandong Province, with the Taiping Mountains around its north side and the Huanghai Sea towards the south. There are historical relics, such as the fort of Taipingjiao and Huiquanjiao, which were used for defense. They form a beautiful scene and it is one of the best-known tourist locations in Qingdao. Laoshan Noted as the highest mountain by the sea, Laoshan soars more than 1,130 meters above sea-level, and is characterized by its precipitous cliffs and streams running through the rocks. As a Taoist sanctuary, the mountain is known as a Fairyland. It is chronicled that even Mount Taishan pales beside Mt. Laoshan in the East Sea. Throughout the ages, Chinese imperial rulers have dispatched envoys to mount Laoshan to search for the elixir of life. Taoism spread to the mountain during the Western Han Dynasty and has since maintained its influence throughout the dynastic age. It is also called the Second Monastery of the Taoist Quanzhen Sect. It had nine palaces, eight temples and seventy-two convents in its heyday. The Taoist monks of Laoshan are well known. Its fantastic rocks and caves, waterfalls and roads around its peaks are true wonders. For this reason, it is designated by the State as one of the most important scenic spots in China. Leaving Notice System: Every time you go out, please fill out the leaving notice form on Nurse Station and give it to the nurses on duty to let hospital staff know you are out of hospital during the certain period of time. This system will assists in letting the staff know where you are. Money Except the fee of your stay in the hospital, you should bring extra money for meals, drinks, snacks, eating out and sightseeing. Travelers Checks are difficult to use in China and no foreign currency is accepted directly. It is best to bring cash and exchange the money when you get to Qingdao. |
