Arrival - The best way to get to Qingdao Chengyang People’s Hospital is to fly into Qingdao Liuting International Airport. The airport code of this facility is TAQ (ZSQD). It lies in the east of Qingdao City in Shandong Province, with the Taiping Mountains around its north side and the Huanghai Sea towards the south. Throughout the ages, Chinese imperial rulers have dispatched envoys to mount Laoshan to search for the elixir of life. Taoism spread to the mountain during the Western Han Dynasty and has since maintained its influence throughout the dynastic age. It is also called the Second Monastery of the Taoist Quanzhen Sect. It had nine palaces, eight temples and seventy-two convents in its heyday. The Taoist monks of Laoshan are well known. Its fantastic rocks and caves, waterfalls and roads around its peaks are true wonders. For this reason, it is designated by the State as one of the most important scenic spots in China. Leaving Notice System: Every time you go out, please fill out the leaving notice form on Nurse Station and give it to the nurses on duty to let hospital staff know you are out of hospital during the certain period of time. This system will assists in letting the staff know where you are. Money Except the fee of your stay in the hospital, you should bring extra money for meals, drinks, snacks, eating out and sightseeing. Travelers Checks are difficult to use in China and no foreign currency is accepted directly. It is best to bring cash and exchange the money when you get to Qingdao. |
