On October 30th, 2001 Jason had a car accident. After it, he could no longer move. Diagnosis: T12-L1 Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury. Only 15% of his spinal cord was still intact on the right side. He had a steel rod inserted in his spine during the first surgery, and a metal plate was inserted into his right femur.

On January 1st, 2007, he began his treatment: umbilical cord stem cell injected into the spinal cord fluid and intravenously too, with Nerve Growth Factor.

She suffered a T10 incomplete spinal cord injury in 1998. Syringomyelia was diagnosed in 2001. Her doctors told her that she only had six months left to live.

In 1995, when Razvan was in high school, he had a very serious accident when diving into a river: he was paralyzed from the neck down and only able to move his eyes, nothing else. Diagnosis: C5-C6 incomplete spinal cord injury. Within 24 hours, he had surgery by Dr. G. Panoze. Once recovered from surgery, he began following a complete daily rehabilitation program (massage, kinetotherapy, physiotherapy and acupuncture) at the physical recovery section of Poiana Campina Hospital.

Gerald Allen

On 11-10-02, Jerry suffered a spinal fracture. C-6 was pushed into his spinal cord. Diagnosis: C5-C6 Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury. Initially, he lost all movement and spent two and a half months at an inpatient therapy unit.

When Jerry was released, outpatient therapy followed. In two years he regained some movement in his arms and noticeable (but small) movements in his hands.
