Canada, 45 years old
Tim's family had a history of ataxia, and he started to feel the effects in 2003. Diagnosis: Spinocerebellar Ataxia 2.
Before the treatment Tim walked unevenly, especially down the stairs: in this case he had to concentrate or hold the handrail in order to feel secure.
His speech was slurred, and his eyes had trouble in focusing on something for a long time.

Tim's daily blog while he was having the treatment.
After the treatment His energy levels increased. Tim walked more steadily, even down the stairs: he could do that effortlessly. He could walk up curbs without having to pay attention. It was easier for him to focus his eyes on an object for a longer time and his speech, too, improved.

Note
Tim came at the very early stages of his disease, so for some of the excercises there are not striking changes to the naked eye: i.e., when he is walking the bars. However, if you look at the walking the line before and after videos, you'll notice the most in terms of improvement.
