His symptoms from Relapsing/Remitting Multiple Sclerosis affected him for over ten years, getting particulary bad in the last three years when there was an onset of pain.

Before the treatment

Due to the constant pain in his legs as well as his balance problems, Pierre had to walk with a cane or support. He could not lift his legs off the bed. Had serious troubles in controlling his bladder, and his speech was not completely fluent.

Pierre arrived at Nan Shan Hospital on February 3^rd, 2006. Therapy: umbilical cord stem cells injections, both IV and intrathecal (into the spinal cord fluid).

After the treatment

Treatment was over on March 3^rd: Pierre had lost all pain in his legs and they stopped shaking. He could lift his legs off the bed. He gained control over his bladder, and was able to speak more clearly. Back home, his wife told him that he looked younger.

During the treatment, some days he was walking better than he did before the treatment, but in other days he seemed to have returned at the previous conditions. We will closely follow Pierre during the coming months to see if he has further improvements.
