At 180 kilometers from Shanghai, Hangzhou is located on Qiantang River and is one of the key cities in the Yang-Tze-Kiang delta area. Famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritages, Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province and its economic and cultural center, with a population of more than 6 million.

Hangzhou municipality boosts science and education. Various courses, especially in the field of high-tech industry, have been greatly promoted. This strategy has achieved great results: since 1997 the city won two state-level and 54 provincial-level science and technology awards. Education flourishes: in Hangzhou there are now 20 universities and colleges, 57 technical schools and 80 research institutions. Thanks to the nine-years compulsory education system and pre-work training system, Hangzhou counts now on 300,000 technicians in various fields.

The Zhejiang Xiaoshan hospital in Hangzhou has been added on november 2006 to Beike’s outstanding group of facilities throughout China, and we are proud to offer it to you. This hospital is specialized in treating children and -if at least possible, given rooms’ availability- we are doing our best to send here all our baby and younger patients.

We have hired over 20 staff members to work at this hospital’s stem cells department: these medical professionals have been carefully chosen and are considered to be among the very best. We have four doctors assigned to our patients, three of which speak English. Among these physicians are two Pediatricians and the hospital’s Head Neurologist.

Each room offers amazing views of the city and comes with satellite TV and Internet access.

The room is large enough for a patient and one caregiver, but not for three people: in case there's a second caregiver, this person will have to stay in a hotel at his own cost. In Hanghzhou there's plenty of good hotels, and Beike's staff will be glad to provide informations and help.

In Hangzhou the climate is subtropical, with four distinctive seasons and a mild atmosphere year round.
